The Doctor's Office
Anna satt på venterommet med en kopp vann i hånden.
Anna sat in the waiting room with a cup of water in her hand.
Hun så seg rundt.
She looked around.
På veggen hang det et bilde av fjell og en klokke som tikket langsomt.
On the wall hung a picture of mountains and a clock that ticked slowly.
Hun kjente at hun var litt nervøs.
She felt a little nervous.
Døren åpnet seg, og en dame i hvit frakk kom ut.
The door opened and a lady in a white coat came out.
"Hei, Anna?" spurte hun med et smil.
"Hi, Anna?" she asked with a smile.
"Ja," svarte Anna og reiste seg.
"Yes," Anna replied and stood up.
"Kom inn," sa legen.
"Come in," said the doctor.
Kontoret var lyst, med en pult, en stol og en benk.
The office was bright, with a desk, a chair, and a bench.
Legen satte seg ned.
The doctor sat down.
"Hvordan går det?"
"How are you?"
Anna satte seg og rynket pannen.
Anna sat down and frowned.
"Ikke så bra.
"Not so good.
Jeg har vondt i hodet."
I have a headache."
"Hvor lenge har du hatt vondt?" spurte legen rolig.
"How long have you had the headache?" asked the doctor calmly.
"I tre dager," svarte Anna.
"For three days," replied Anna.
Legen nikket.
The doctor nodded.
"Har du feber?"
"Do you have a fever?"
"Ja, litt," sa Anna.
"Yes, a little," said Anna.
Legen tok frem et termometer og sjekket temperaturen.
The doctor took out a thermometer and checked her temperature.
"Du har litt feber, men ikke mye.
"You have a slight fever, but not much.
Har du hoste?"
Do you have a cough?"
"Nei, bare hodepine og feber," svarte Anna.
"No, just a headache and fever," replied Anna.
"Jeg tror du har en liten infeksjon," sa legen vennlig.
"I think you have a minor infection," said the doctor kindly.
"Du må hvile, drikke mye vann og ta paracetamol."
"You need to rest, drink plenty of water, and take paracetamol."
Anna pustet lettet ut.
Anna breathed a sigh of relief.
"Ok.
"Okay.
Tusen takk."
Thank you very much."
Legen smilte.
The doctor smiled.
"Bare hyggelig.
"You're welcome.
God bedring!"
Get well soon!"
Anna reiste seg, tok jakken sin og følte seg allerede litt bedre på vei ut av kontoret.
Anna got up, took her jacket, and already felt a little better on her way out of the office.
